Case Studies
Case:

We have completed two rather interesting and similar surveillances recently, which will interest employers. The first case revolved around an employee with a long term absenteeism that was suspected of working. In this case we had to, "Go softly", to identify her mode of transport...there was no sign of the target emerging from the front of the house, but, on the third day of a surveillance of the rear of the property we identified her vehicle and had a little amusement as she travelled to work with her dog in the passenger seat. In this case a resignation followed.
In the other case an employee with a back complaint seemed to be, "On the level", after two days of surveillance - he didn't leave his house. We actually reported in that as the target was at home he could well be genuine! In this case a, "For Sale", went up on the property. We enquired about a viewing to be advised that viewings were possible only in the evening and weekends. With renewed vigour we followed this chap using two vehicles later that week going to work. The client rumbled this fellow at his new place of work. The final chapter here was that the target claimed that he had actually sent his resignation in the post some weeks ago and repaid his sick pay!
