Subject: Licencing of Private Investigators

The Security Industry Authority (\"SIA\") are a government agency who are Licencing the Private Security Industry. Security Firms, Doormen, Wheel Clampers(!).
Detective Agencies and Private Investigators have been added to it\'s database.
It may lead to a, \"Better industry\" and in time, a certain number of established competent Private Investigators may benifit from being, \"Badged up\"...time will tell.
For now, I am returning my flyer from the SIA to be, \"Kept informed about licencing for the private security industry and our Approved Contractor Scheme\", as the situation at the moment is that we are the, \"Last\", industry to be regulated under this scheme and that the legislation is not, as yet, in place.
